I do ask that you please read our testimony while you are here. This will let you know who we are and how and why we decided to change our lifestyle to keto. We want you to know that this is not just a type of a fad diet thing for us. It has become our lifestyle.
We are very aware that if we decide that we no longer wish to make keto our lifestyle, everything that we have accomplished will reverse. All the weight will come back. The medicines will come back. This knowledge is what keeps us going.
I had a gentleman tell me recently that people don’t just decide to do keto, they have to have a reason for doing this. He was right.
Starting out, I want to stress very strongly, we are NOT medical professionals. If you are thinking about changing to the keto lifestyle, I urge you to consult with your doctor. Even more so if you have medical issues.
What I share with you is what has worked for us. It may be different for you. But, I do hope you are able to pick up some tips along the way that will help you and inspire you.
I will be sharing my thoughts on products, and how they have worked for us. I tend to judge foods/ingredients on how it affects my blood sugar, since I mainly do this to help fight diabetes. If I try something and it raises my blood sugar, that is a bad food for me. Keto foods are not suppose to raise blood sugar.
Let me say, you don’t have to be keto to try keto foods. You can have the keto desserts if you are diabetic. You can have the “bread” type foods if you have gluten allergies. But, if you are wanting to see results, such as weight loss or diabetes control, you will need to make this your lifestyle and not just a meal here and there. It will take commitment!! But, the results are so worth it!

Let me say a word concerning recipes. I will not post a recipe that we do not enjoy. I have tried so many recipes that I have come across that just were not pleasing to us. I have tried many that have ended up in the trash. I WILL NOT POST THESE! Of course I understand that our taste and likes may be different from yours. Please remember, I share what has worked for us.
Some of the recipes that I post may be recipes that I have found on other sites. I will put a link for these for you to go check them out.
So, I hope you will jump in here with us, if you haven’t already.
